SCULPTURE & PROJECTS
Gailan Ngan works from a studio at her father/potter Wayne Ngan’s old studio on Hornby Island, BC as well as from her studio in Vancouver. She graduated from Emily Carr University of Art and Design in 2002.
Ngan’s work has been shown at Monte Clark Gallery, the Western Front, the Museum of Anthropology, Centre A: International Centre for Contemporary Asian Art, The Apartment, Art Los Angeles Contemporary, and is included in the Doris Shadbolt Collection at the Morris and Helen Belkin Art Gallery, UBC. In 2015 she received the North-West Ceramics Foundation Award of Excellence.
